As a Podiatrist I take care of people’s foot and lower limb health.
A lot of my work is based around routine care of the skin and nails. I have a keen interest in Biomechanics, which is the study of structure and movement of the human body. I think this stems from my time worked as a personal fitness trainer and a sports massage therapist. Although I no longer practice these professions the knowledge I gained is still very useful in clinic.
“I enjoy my work and treat my patients like family. I believe it is this philosophy that keeps my patient’s returning to me.”
As a member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) I am bound by a code of conduct. Through Continual Professional Development (CPD), I maintain my ongoing knowledge. I attend regular courses and seminars, read reports and journals to keep up with the most recent forms of treatment and care. I am also a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.
